The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Abubakar Buba, today inspected the Kaduna NEWMAP–EIB booth during the official launch of the Nigeria Climate Adaptation, Erosion, and Watershed Project at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
This effort is in line with the vision and commitment of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, CON, towards strengthening climate adaptation, environmental sustainability, and watershed management in the State.
The Commissioner was received by the State Project Coordinator, Gideon Sachi, who briefed him on the State’s level of preparedness. Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Linda A. Yakubu; the Permanent Secretary, Planning and Budget Commission, Mukhtar Abdullahi; the Head of PFMU, Nasiru Dahiru; together with members of the Kaduna NEWMAP–EIB team.
